Originally an active member of the Rave stage, Dataraper turned then towards a more personal electronic project. The outcome of this quest gave birth to “Carbon Flora”, his first LP, at the dawn of this new millennium. This musical style, stemming from two major influences – New-wave & Techno – reveals itself on this CD, strangely cold tones where are spread EBM, Industrial and Techno atmospheres. Powerful and devastating, each song evolves in a unique sound sphere. Ethereal and rough rhythmic mix in a terribly effective fissional orgy. So, it is not a surprise to discover on this opus some tracks especially remixed by other famous artists such as Mlada Fronta or Electro Synthetic Rebellion. The innovative music of Dataraper, bombarded with industrial images, immerses the listener in the heart of a futuristic universe made of glass and steal, a new close era, where the Earth wastes away, where flowers become carbon. Dataraper project was then put on hold until May 2010.
