Technoir is the main project of the former [a=Plastic Noise Experience] live keyboardist, Steffan Gehring. In 2000, he was joined by Julia, formerly of [a=Inside (3)]. They released two CDs independently before releasing "Groundlevel" in 2001. In 2002, they collaborated with [a=Blacklight (4)] on a cover of [a=Killing Joke]'s 'Love Like Blood' and in 2006, they released their second full-length "Deliberately Fragile" on Alfa-Matrix. As of 2009, Julia has left Technoir and is working with [a=Chandeen].
